PREVIOUS WORKS

GLASSWORKS// THE MINACK THEATRE
This music, dance theatrical project was a collaboration with Musical Director Patrick Bailey and The Minack Theatre.  Five professional dancers responded, evoked, and embodied the sound of the score of the iconic Glassworks by Composer Philip Glass, bought to life by an ensemble of 12 musicians.  A truly special piece of movement, music and performance in a unique setting.  Set created by Murdoch Design.

DIRTY WORDS// CHEAP DATE
This music and dance collaboration originally devised with Seamas Carey and associate director Kyla Goodey explores communication and the power of words.  Through dance, speech, music, and digital media this works honest stories explores all our dirtiest words.  Re-worked in 2023 with Josh Penrose with a full run at the Pleasance Dome at Edinburgh Fringe.

STAIRS// CHEAP DATE
Our stairs, your space.  Exploring how the staircases we tread lead to everywhere and nowhere all at once. Visceral dance, spoken word, comedy and spectacle all come together to explore this intrinsic part of our everyday lives.  With a moving, transforming stage designed by Murdoch Design, this show is one of a kind created specifically to bring dance in an accessible way artistically and practically to rural audiences.

ME, BUT BIGGER//INDEPENDANT
This music and dance collaboration with Patrick Bailey, internationally renowned conductor, and composer, paired seven young gifted and talented children with seven Cornish dance artists to talk about human interaction, self-reflection and growing up.

LITTLE WOMEN, BIG BALLS//CHEAP DATE
Created for Cheap Date, mixing sports and dance theatre in a fresh and dynamic look at attempt, success and failure.  So many balls, not enough time.

HOW WE LOST IT//CHEAP DATE
Co-created with the other founding members of Cheap Date a blend of comedy dance theatre, with abstract and literal retellings of virginity, romance, intimacy, and dating.

RULES - FALMOUTH DOCKS//INDEPENDANT
The only dance and performance event to ever be held inside Falmouth A&P Dockyards.  This one-off public event housed a short dance performance and accompanying film created in collaboration with local film students and musicians.  As well as V-jing performance, live DJ and spoken word.
