As a Director, Choreographer/Movement Director Grace is a freelance artist based in Cornwall, although originally from Manchester.  With a passion for honest human storytelling that leaves you with an experience to share, laugh about, and struggle to forget.  Grace is currently an associate artist with Hall for Cornwall.

 

Working extensively across Cornwall and the UK in Theatre and Dance as well as community settings.  Grace also dons the hat of performer, producer, writer and movement teacher on various days of the week.   

She is Director of Cheap Datea physical theatre performance company working with dance, speech, sound, comedy and mixed media.  Cheap Date have toured across the UK and Sweden to great success.  The company through hilarious, honest explorations of everyday life give an audience chance to have a unique experience with space for their own stories.  

As a freelancer Grace works on independent projects as well as a movement director and choreographer for various theatre organisations and productions, including theatre, dance, opera and community projects.   

Alongside her freelance work and Cheap Date, Grace co-runs fabrication and design company Murdoch Design with her husband Nick.
